Questions about this lesson

When do we use the present simple?

We use it for facts, habits and fixed timetables: Water boils at 100 degrees. The museum opens at 9 o'clock.

How do we make the present simple negative and ask questions?

Use do / does with the base form of the verb: My brother doesn't drink coffee. Do you go to the cinema?

What is the common mistake with he / she / it?

Forgetting the -s in positive sentences: The sun rises (not rise). After does, however, we go back to the base verb: What does your father do?
