Alex is nervous on his first day until Cheng helps him, and we learn school subjects, adjectives of feeling, suggestions and the modal verbs should, ought to and needn't.

- We use adjectives to talk about feelings. To give more information, put about or of after the adjective, as in I am scared of flying.
- We make suggestions with What about + noun/-ing or How about + noun/-ing.
- Should and ought to give advice, and needn't says something is not necessary.
- Modal verbs are followed by another verb.
