Use the present progressive for actions happening now (and some future plans), imperatives for commands, instructions and advice, and prepositions of position and movement.

Key points · أهم النقاط

• Present progressive = am/is/are + verb-ing: They're making a TV series.
• Stative verbs (like, love, want, see, smell, taste, hear) are not usually used in the progressive.
• Present progressive can talk about future plans: What are you doing tomorrow? – I'm going to the park.
• Imperative: Sit down. / Please don't sit down. Advice: Try the pizza. Don't have the soup.
